ABOUT TEAP

Technology Education Advancement Program
The Technology Education Advancement Program (TEAP) is an education facilitation and completion program that operates under the direction of the University of Central Missouri's (UCM) Extended Campus and Distance Learning division.  TEAP is a national educational partnership that offers students access to academic coursework in vital topic areas such as Avionics, Telecommunication, and Information Technology. Through TEAP, the University of Central Missouri partners with companies and organizations to deliver coursework that improves the workforce skills required for current and/or future job duties and responsibilities.  Courses taken under this program map to UCM Bachelor Degrees in the College of Sciences & Technology and can apply toward continuing education requirements, certificate programs, and/or bachelor degrees.

UCM offers 150 programs of study leading to an associate's degree, certificate, bachelor's degree, master's degree, education specialist degree, or cooperative doctorate. These include 10 pre-professional programs, 27 areas of teacher certification, and 37 graduate programs. Through our International Center, students can study in almost every country in the world. Accreditation
The University of Central Missouri is accredited by the North Central Association of Colleges and Schools (Higher Learning Commission). In addition, departments and program within the College of Sciences and Technology are accredited by the following agencies: Accreditation Board for Engineering and Technology (ABET) and the The Council on Aviation Accreditation (CAA).
